OOC: Seth, an Assassin, has control over Goldoa, in order to defeat Chase, we must defeat the generic bossess at each state in Tellius.

*all proceed forward to see Rain fighting off Agarov and Nephenee tied against a rock*

Soren: Nephenee held as a hostage and Rain losing a fight...this isn't good...

Raven: If Rain's losing a fight, this means a lot of trouble...

*Rain then notices the group*

Rain: ...great...I hope they're not here to try to kill me...

Lyn: I'll get Nephenee out.

Ike: Okay, I'll go--

Rain: Don't! This man is mine! Get Nephenee and get out of here!

Ike: but--

Rain: GO!

Lyn: *cuts Nephenee out and gathers her weapons up* Come on! We have to leave!

Nephenee: Not without Rain!

Ike: We have no choice! He told us to get out!

Agarov: I won't let any of you escape here alive! *prepares to charge, but Rain gets in the way*

Rain: I may not be as strong anymore, but I at least have my will.

Nephenee: Rain! You can escape with us!

Rain: ...I can't *looks back* I can't do that....I have to protect all of you.

Nephenee: *notices something and tries to run to Rain* No! Don't do it! What about your friends, your family, and everyone that cared for ya?

Rain: This...is my goodbye to you....and my thanks. *clenches fist as massive amounts of energy is beginning to charge*

Nephenee: No! Don't!

Raven: *picks up Nephenee and slings her over his shoulder* We don't have time for this! *begins running out the other side*

Rain: ....good...now that they're gone...I can finally end this...

Agarov: I won't lose to the likes of you. Once you're finished, I will then go after the girl!

Rain: ......There's a reason why this is called Final Judgment...and I will use this attack to end your life...and mine if it requires me to do so...

Agarov: You have always been so quick to give your life. But I won't fail! *begins to charge Rain*

Rain: .......I'm sorry....Nephenee....I won't be able to be there to finish your training....

*Rain brings his arm back, finishing the overcharge of energy, and finally slamming his fist into the ground, creating a dome of energy that finally engulfed the entire cavern that they're in (Think of the Volcano animation from Devil May Cry 3 (...I think that attack is called Volcano...))*

*Elsewhere, somewhere in the path*

Ike: What...was that?

Nephenee: ...no....

Raven: Uh....what's that coming up behind us?

Soren: Oh no...Get down!

*all drop to the ground as the large cloud of dust from the shockwave begins to pass*

Eiva: I still have this! *holds up Rewarp*

Darrah: *nearly gets hit by an arrow* ...MORE morphs?
Eiva: Nope. Those are definitely humans approaching...
?: I see... Lord Chase mentioned you three... yes, what a strange and powerful energy...
Eiva: *gulp* ...Is that the leader of this squad?
Darrah: He looks like an assassin... Uh... I'll stay back for this...
Sasha: Well, he can't attack from a distance, so our magic will be useful here.

Zelgius: They seem to be Chase's underlings...
Sanaki: We should help Sasha's group out.
Sephiran: I concur.

*Darrah falls to the back line with the mages, who charge up their spells...*

Chase: At last! My dream has come true and I am now a god!
*Chase's arm turns into a 20ft tall snake and drops to the ground*
Snake: My lord Chase, what is your bidding?
Chase: I wish for you to purge Tellius of all impurities and get me the three girls, they must be used to unleash my true power.
Snake: Understood my lord. *the snake slithers away towards Goldoa where Sasha and co. are fighting the assassin.

Ike: Nephenee...

Mia: Hey! Come on! We know you're okay!

Nephenee: ...it's not me...that I'm worried about...it's you guys. He...he's still alive...

Soren: You mean that man that Rain was fighting?

Nephenee: ...yes...

Titania: How?

Nephenee: ...he has some ability to be able to duplicate himself...and then leave *flashback where Rain turned his head to her for that short amount of time as Agarov made a duplication and left the area quickly* ....he....he's still alive...but I will avenge Rain...I won't let him get away with that.

Ike: You wanted him to be able to see his family and friends again, right?

Nephenee: ...yes....he's spoken highly of them...his sister...her soon ta be husband....Clan Delta...and now...no one there will know what happened to him....

Mist: He gave his life to protect us, Nephenee...especially you...so you should honor that and help protect this world...

Nephenee: ...you're right....and I'm sure that the others know that he'd be willing ta do that...for anyone...

Ike: I'm sure of that, too. So, please...let's go and help the others.

Nephenee: Right...I...I'll fight in his honor...

Agarov: Heh. Now that Rain's dead, all I need to do is kill that girl. She won't be alive any longer, and she can then join Rain and that girl.

*back in the caves, a rustling beneath the rocks occurs as a few rocks rolls around*

Eiva: ...Why are these guys so intent on capturing us?
Darrah: You heard that guy blathering on about how we're crucial to his power somehow...
Sasha: Well, he sensed that our energy is more powerful than the standard Quintessence... but there's quite a bit more to it, of course. If he doesn't know the fine print, he's going to be in for a disappointment...
Darrah: (Unless he already knows the fine print and already has worked out a way around it...)
Sasha: He knows the energy is stronger... but can he feel that it's different? Humans aren't very sensitive to energies.
Eiva: But Laguz are... and he's half Laguz. So maybe he's figured that out?
Sasha: Even so, it won't matter. Mana and Quintessence aren't quite compatible. They say that Quintessence is life energy, and Mana is nature energy... it's what gives us some qualities of spirits, like our enhanced affinity for magic.
Darrah: (And our ability to heal and recover energy when we sleep... a human probably won't wake up from a coma, but a Tensakutan just might...)
Eiva: (You mumble really loud, Darrah.)
Darrah: (Shut up.)
Eiva: ...Maybe he thinks that, if he gathers both kinds of life energy... even though he won't be able to take our energy in... wait, that's not making sense. If he can't handle our Mana, there's not much he can do, is there?
Sasha: You never know... he may just happen to find a way, knowing how things go here... but this is assuming he can even tell the difference between the two energies. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this pans out. *an arrow suddenly zips past all three of them*
Darrah: Uh... back to work, guys!
Sasha: ...Right. *blasts an oncoming group of soldiers with Phlegethon*

Chuso: Got it *makes hand signals, forces surround them and set the area around them on fire*

Raten* Jumps down* run in and gut them *roar of soldiers enter the ring of fire and start fighting
