Okay. We REALLY need to establish what does and does not make a God character.
I realize that I said it would be perfectly fine for you to make a villian, which is the main reason what I'm about to say makes me feel like a total *****, but it needs saying.
Damon was cheap. The way Damon got set up was EXACTLY the same as the way Chase was. No matter who attacked, Damon did not take damage. Many of the things people did you ignored altogether. When Nephenee cured her poison, you didn't acknowledge it. When the Angry Blue Ghost started strangulating Damon, you ignored her. And then, just as with Chase, you set it up so we weren't able to even harm Damon until Alex pointed out that his weak point was the scythe. Not to mention that after that Alex suddenly knows all of Damon' backstory for no reason.
I'm coming out harsh. I wish I weren't but I have to be. What happened last night wasn't okay. You set the battle up so that Alex had to save the day, and you ignored practically everything anyone did. Nothing we did mattered in the fight - it just got shrugged off.
...So, now that I've gone and made myself look completely heartless...discuss.

I completely agree. After a while, it got to the point where I no longer wanted to post because nothing I was doing mattered. I don't think you even acknowledged that anyone was doing anything. I realize you're having trouble including yourself in the rp, but stuff like this is not the right way to go about it.

I realized this, and that's why I killed off Alex...
He's not going to be in the RP anymore, simply because I cannot RP worth a damn. (it's true) without one of my characters going Mary Stu, godlike, or somehow knowing everything.
If you want, I will no longer RP anymore, I will not make any new characters as everytime I do, they always end up the same (Unkillable or Gary Stus).
I feel ashamed for putting that in and I'll leave this decision for you.

I just think you need a little practice with keeping your characters average, that's all.

Believe me, it would be unfair for me to continue, what if I were to make an overly powerful character again? Or what if suddenly my next character is too emo/Mary Stu.
There's a reason I want to no longer RP.
RPing just isn't for me I'm afraid...

I think it should be up to you. If you choose to RP another character, I'm okay with that. If you like, I'll even be your Navi and pitch a fit when you start crossing the Stu line...something I really should have done last night...
So, if you want to stop, I'm fine with that. If you want to continue, I'm okay with it as long as everyone else is.

We would never want to ban you from rping, I mean, this is your site. Maybe you could consider creating a character that starts out first tier, like we all did. That might help you a little.

Maybe I'm going to update the rules a bit....
If I DO return to RPing (unlikely) I'll probably try to make my characters a little more developed.

I have an idea, Klav. Why don't you try RPing just characters that has a known background like Brom, Nailah, Aran, etc?

I left mecause im not used to RPing like that either...but if I....tried to get involved, then I might be able to do it.
Which means I can pull a Train on Tai right now (from a show, which gives him adverse affects)
I mean, you people could tell im new to RPing just by reading my posts, right?

Hmmm. Led's Navi comment gave me an idea...
(Everything I wanted to say about the Stuism was already scooped by others. Blah.)
I don't know if you noticed, Klav (sometimes I'm subtle, other times I am... LIKE A BRICK), but my characters (being experts at Lampshade Hanging as is) get noticably irate when one of your characters crosses the Stu line (see The Traveler's irritation at Damon's constant blocking). If you decide to RP again, watch them carefully if one of your characters is in the same place as them. (If you RP a canon character, they'll point out flagrant deviations instead.) At any rate, for forming balanced characters... take a look at everyone else's characters for reference (not mine, they probably wander into Sue territory at times [not Quince, though- he's the pet noob], and The Traveler might be pushing it a little). They take hits, they have weaknesses... you might understand how to fix what you're doing wrong a bit more clearly.

Klav, you should make an underpowered character and RP him/her. Then an average character would seem overpowered (Just fine) for you.
