Odd title eh?
Well this is a fanfiction based on our RP characters on their quest to fight a demonic force called "The Demonic Arcane".
These evildoers are much like the Black Fang from FE7, so you'll notice some similairities but let's get to the story, shall we?
Chapter 1: Shadow's Gaze
Richard Falcon walked down the slopes of the ruined city of Sienne, he had been given a special mission by his master, Death.
Looking at the twilight sky that was above him, he took out his sword and thrust it into the ground.
"By the power of hell and all that is shadow, I call forth Death, queen of hell herself!" Falcon said.
A demonic looking figure arose from a pillar of flames.
"Falcon, have you done what I asked?" Death asked.
"Yes, master. I have taken Sanaki hostage." Falcon said.
"Very well, she is to be used as a sacrifice to me at once." Death's second voice called.
"I understand master." Falcon said.
Meanwhile, farther away, Ike was fighting with Boyd.
"I will best you this time, Ike!" Boyd grinned, his axeplay had gotten better since from what Ike had remembered.
Nephenee was watching the two men spar and looked at the sky, a crimson glow shone from it.
"Umm... guys, there's something out there!" Nephenee said worried.
Ike looked up, he saw the sky had changed into a giant skull that was speaking.
"Mortals and immortals of the world alike, I am Defalus, soon to be ruler of you all! If you do not follow the code of rules I send down you shall all be executed." The voice said.
"Who was that?" Nephenee asked.
"He must have been some kind of demon, we'd better find out who this Defalus is, and fast!" Ike said.
