Here, I'll answer any and all of your questions.
1. What is Karma Reduction?
A. Karma Reduction (KR) is the new system of this forum.
Your karma (which is also your health on this board) will be reduced by 5, should you efccccnd up in the negatives, a chance of you getting banned starts to rise.
If you break a really bad rule (pornography), you will have your karma reduced by 10 instead.
Abuse of the karma system will negotiate a nice -10 KR.
2. Roleplaying? How do I do that?
A. Read the How to RP thread in Gallia.
3. Someone changed their name! Who are they?
A. Click on thpeir profile and check the address.
4. Why can't I be an admin?
A. The administrator would perfer it if he were the only admin until the site gets more members, also, I will pick the next admin from one of our current moderators.

So what determines if it's okay to Smite someone? If they insult you? If they spam? If they're just being annoying? I probably won't be smiting anyone...well, ever, but I'd like to know when it is or is not okay.

If they are being annoying? Sure, but just keep smiting someone because you hate them is abuse.

Uh, quick question... what's the deal with the Gold system? I didn't notice it till a few days ago. What do we do with it, and how do we get more?
Oh, also, is smiting/exalting anonymous, or is there somewhere you can check to see who's been doing what to you? And is there any way to gain Karma outside of exalting?

The basic way to get gold is through posting - I think you get 20 gold per post or something. You can "spend" it in the Merchant Caravan on Led's Fate Cards, or to by profile stuff from Alex, or hire an assassin, etc etc. Karma...I know it's anonymous to me. Alex may be able to keep track of it, though, so if anyone abuses smite he'll stop 'em. I think exalting and smiting are the only ways to affect the karma shown in your profile, but you gain "overall" karma through posting (the karma count shown under your post count). Did that help I'm know to give answers that don't really answer anything.  |
